The Wellness India Expo 2017, a trade show that brings the benefits of the wellness industry to limelight will unfold on August 29 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The 3 day event that continues till August 31 will incorporate Organic, Health and Biotech Expos under one roof with focus on a wide range of products, services and equipments beneficial to the global wellness industry and common man alike.
The Expo organised by Exhibition India Group and co-organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) – A Government of India Enterprise under the aegis of Department of Commerce will bring together industries that enable consumers to incorporate wellness into their lives – how they live, work, play and travel. The Expo is expected to bestow a new direction to the evolving wellness industry here and to the common life reeling under lifestyle and environmental complexities.
Health India, the health exhibition as part of the Expo will draw attention to the benefit of living a balanced life through alternative medicines, therapeutic treatments, wholesome and healthy diets, wellness foods, physical fitness, peace of mind etc. Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy will receive greater focus in the Expo, as it forms part of the USD 1.8 billion alternative medicine market in India.
The organic exhibition titled Organic India will shed lights on organic products including food and drink, medicines, herbal products, textiles etc grown or produced without chemicals, synthetic fertilizers or pesticides etc. The increasing number of humans who choose to follow special diets, opts to eat organic to reduce disease, cleanse their system and improve vitality is the inspiration behind this well conceived expo.
Advances in various biotechnology fields will be the highlight of the section Biotech India in the expo. Endless bio-tech food products, drug products and vaccines currently in clinical trials targeting to cure rare diseases will be put on display. Developments and innovations in the five major segments such as bio-pharma, bio-agri, bio-industrial, bio-fuels and bio-informative will be emphasized.
The Expo aims to bring together organic food producers, farmers, retailers; Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy mediation & yoga Institutions; bio-technology specialists, researchers & scientists, and investment community to name a few.
The entry is free for all to the exhibition which will be conducted at Hall 7. Business visitors are required to register at the registration desk at the hall to receive a visitor badge for entry to the expo hall. Public visitors need not have to register.
